The treatment of 18 miners suffering from acute poisoning with firedamp by a complex method of a hyperbaric oxygenation with prior introduction of alpha-lipoic acid is conducted. A complex treatment turned out to be effective. The number of complains considerably decreased, the vegetative parameters, vestibular function and visual-motor response were improved. This therapy is recommended for treatment of patients suffering from firedamp poisoning.
