CALCIUM EXCHANGE AND HEART RATE VARIABILITY CHANGE IN HYPERTENSIVE PATIENTS

The authors study change of calcium exchange in blood and erythrocytes, levels of calcitonin and parathhormones and their relation with heart rate variability in 53 patients with I–III stage of arterial hypertension. Patients with arterial hypertension have insignificant decrease of Ca level in the blood and its rise in erythrocytes with progressive arterial hypertension. The study demonstrated connection between Ca concentration and levels of calcium-regulating hormones. Rise in the Ca level in erythrocytes accompany rise in the sympatic nervous system activity.
