The elaboration of Fusarium fungi express-detection in grain and vegetable food products is an actual question. DNA-technology usage allowed to demonstrate PCR-detection possibility of these fungi at genus level in different sources: maize grain with obvious disease symptoms or with latent infection; food products (groats, flakes, can maize), as well as reveal the presence of toxin-production genes in Fusarium strains genomes.
