Clinical-epidemiologic investigation was implemented in 869 children hospitalized with acute gastroenteritis. The antigen of rotavirus was evaluated in 303 (34,9 %) children by the immune enzyme method. The frequency and clinical characteristics of the Rotaviral infection was studied in children.
