The distribution of a new prodrug — lauric ester of 3-hydroxyphenazepam and its main metabolite — 3-hydroxyphenazepam — in organs and tissues of mice has been studied in this work. The biggest amount of substance was noticed in fat tissue, that is connected with with high lipophility of the drug. Maximal 3-hydroxyphenazepam content in the blood and the brain is registered after 0.5-1 hour after administration.
