The analysis of 101 case reports of rheumatism is carried out. The sex-age characteristic of patients, duration of disease, a degree of activity, structure of valve defects, kinds and terms of their surgical correction, percent of invalidisation are studied. The increasing in relative density of surgical correction of rheumatic defects, improvement of patients’ life quality and duration of their life are noted.
