For the last 10 years the frequency of congenital malformations in newborns of theOdessaregion made up 19,6 ‰, in 2007 — 18,6 ‰. The prevalence of locomotor malformations was 72 (26,6 %), congenital heart-diseases — 125 (24,8 %), cleft lip and palatinum — 29 (5,8 %), congenital hydronephrosis — 11 (2,2 %), myelocele — 10 (1,98 %), atresia of the anus — 8 (1,6 %), esophageal atresia — 7 (1,4 %), congenital pathology of the male sexual organs — 67 (13,3 %) .The problem requires the detailed study, development of prognostic and prophylactic measures.
