The mechanism of action of antihypoxants — pharmacological preparations purposefully influencing on metabolic processes at hypoxia is observed in the article. The authors also analyze application of the antiischemic preparations. The special attention is payed to thiotriazoline — the preparation synthesized inUkraine, and which the last years attracts attention of researchers and physicians of different specialities due to the unique qualities. The pharmacological effect of thiotriazoline is conditioned by antiischemic, membranostabilized, antioxidantive and immunomodulative properties.
