There were studied peculiarities of the pain syndrome by 10-point visual-analogue scale, index of Lequesne and quality of life with the help of the EuroQol-5D scale at different roentgenological stages of osteoarthrosis of knee joints. The pain syndrome was minimum at the 1st roentgenological stage, and mainly consisted of pain in the affected periarticular tissues and inflammatory starting pain. There was revealed an increase in intencity of the pain syndrome predominantly due to the pain associated with venous congestion and deformation of the trabecular bone, increased roentgenological stage of the disease. The maximum intensity of the pain syndrome by the 10-point visual-analogue scale and index of Lequesne, the lowest quality of life was observed in the patients with 4th roentgenological stage of osteoarthrosis.
