Analysis of home and foreign literature data about the basic etiopathogenetic mechanisms of the Lynch I and II syndromes origin and development was carried out in the article. The author has supposed that the Lynch syndromes rate highly exceed the official data. Basic directions of the screening measures in revealing the given pathology in population has been also shown.
