65 pregnant women with mild and moderate activity of chronic hepatitis C (CHC) and 32 healthy pregnant women were observed. Activation of lipid peroxidation that connects with disease activity has been established. It was shown that fibrotic processes in the liver correlate with intensity of lipid peroxidation.
