The SH- and -S-S- group content in blood serum (BS) was determined before and after incubation with L-Thyroxine. The incubation of BS NHV samples with L-Thyroxine in vitro caused increasing amount of protein SH- and non-protein -S-S- groups, decreasing amount of non-protein SH- and protein -S-S- groups and increasing protein and decreasing non-protein SH/SS coefficients.
The incubation of BS samples from patients having TGA and TGC with L-Thyroxine in vitro caused decreasing protein SH- and non-protein -S-S- groups content, increasing amount of non-protein SH- and protein -S-S- groups, decreasing protein and increasing non-protein SH/SS coefficients.
