HEART RATE VARIABILITY IN PATIENTS SUFFERING FROM ARTERIAL HYPERTENSION COMORBID WITH PEPTIC ULCER AT THE THERAPY STAGES

In out-patient conditions the patients were investigated (n=141): of which the main group consisted of patients with hypertension (H) comorbid with peptic ulcer (PU) (n=41), the comparison group 1 consisted of patients with isolated H (n=58) and the comparison group 2 — with isolated PU (n=42). Parameters of heart rate variability (HRV) were studied before and after therapy. Hypertension comorbid with PU was characterized by losing its right regulatory mechanisms beyond the recovery after standard therapy, which testifies to dysbalance of vegetative regulation with combination of these nosologies.
