The article is devoted to the problem of treatment of the patients with HIV-infection. Factors that must be taken into account in choice of patients’ treatment scheme are given. Modern classification of antiretroviral drugs is presented. It was shown that using of such drugs leads to decline of immunodeficit, frequency of opportunistic diseases, and AIDS mortality.
