The article presents the literature review devoted to the study of two important problems of orthopaedic stomatology — influence of dental prosthetics on homeostasis of oral cavity and influence of changes of oral homeostasis on quality of prosthetics.
The literature data give a full picture of negative influence of dentures on homeostasis of oral cavity, and the questions of influence of oral homeostasis disorders on the quality of prosthetics and adaptation to dentures are actual in modern stomatology, that is why the researches in this field should go on.
