The article deals with the history of the Odessa otolaryngology society from the moment of its foundation till nowadays. The information about the brightest representatives of the Society, the objective evaluation of their scientific and medical activity, contribution to development of otolaryngology in Odessa as an independent medical field are given in a short lucid manner.
